By accessing or using Amud (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Amud is a learning accountability platform designed for Torah institutions. The Service includes:

  • A web portal and iOS mobile application for participants to log learning sessions
  • A web-based admin dashboard for organization leaders
  • Cloud-based data storage and synchronization

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and current information

4. Organization Accounts

Organization administrators are responsible for:

  • Managing participant accounts within their institution
  • Ensuring appropriate use of the platform by their members
  • Complying with applicable data protection laws regarding participant data

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Impersonate another person or entity

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Amud and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Subscription and Payment

  • Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually as selected
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Amud shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
